This collection was inspired by visionary artist Hideo Kojima. I am a close follower of his aggregations and pursuance of art. He inspired me through a link of ideas he touched on in his 2019 hit project Death Stranding. In this piece from 2018 I link the ideas of death, life, purgatory, space, and humanity with a beach I visited in Alabama. Influences from his promotions of the project before publishing come in the fashion of black sand, space aesthetics, and footprints. My own touches come in the fashion of satellite-like angles and colors, moonlike tone and shadow, shells like meteors and planets, surreal doors.
